Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Childcare Specialist to provide high-quality care and education to children in our nursery. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and learning experiences that foster cognitive, social, and emotional development
  2. Provide personal care to children, including feeding, changing diapers, and assisting with toileting, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being
  3. Monitor and observe children's development, behavior, and health, reporting any concerns or issues to management
  4. Maintain a clean and organized nursery environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and standards
  5. Collaborate with parents to communicate progress, set goals, and address any concerns or needs they may have regarding their child's development
  6. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care, following established policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Level 2/3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent, demonstrating expertise in child development principles and best practices
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting, showcasing your ability to work effectively with young children and their families
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing you to build strong relationships with colleagues, parents, and children
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, enabling you to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities
