Our small team within the 2-bed OFSTED registered home operates on a rota basis, ensuring that everyone gets a fair share of day and night shifts. As a Senior Residential Child Care Worker, you will contribute to creating a positive and engaging atmosphere for the children in our care.
Your key responsibilities will include planning activities, spending quality time with the children, teaching life skills, and advocating for their needs. You will also collaborate with other agencies to help children achieve their goals and targets.
To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, a patient demeanor, and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children. We welcome applications from individuals who possess a Level 3 qualification in Residential Children and Young People's Workforce or are willing to pursue it.
The estimated salary for this position is around £27,000 per annum, based on a 40-hour week and assuming 37 hours of actual working time per week. The actual take-home pay may vary depending on individual circumstances and tax obligations.
