About the Role

Are you a dedicated Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker seeking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? Do you possess a passion for early intervention and preventing the onset of psychosis?

Kent and Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust (KMPT) is excited to announce the development of its At Risk Mental State (ARMS) service in Dartford. This innovative service focuses on supporting individuals aged 14 to 35 who are at ultra-high risk of developing psychosis, aiming to delay or prevent their transition into a full psychotic episode.

Your Contribution

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in assessing and supporting young people experiencing mental health challenges. You will collaborate closely with psychologists, CBT therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments of individuals at ultra-high risk of psychosis.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions to address co-existing mental health difficulties.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and case discussions.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker.
  • Significant experience working with individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
  • Proven clinical assessment and intervention skills.
  • Knowledge of a range of evidence-based interventions for At-Risk Mental States.
