About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Kent and Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a pivotal role in providing mental health services to a diverse population of 1.8 million people in Kent and Medway.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality mental health services to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Lead and manage a team of medical professionals, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and patient-centered care.
  • Participate in medical leadership and contribute to the development of our service.

Requirements

  • MRCPsych or equivalent qualification.
  • On or within six months of inclusion on the Specialist Register.
  • Fully registered with the GMC.
  • Approved Clinician and S12 approval under the Mental Health Act.
