About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Kent & Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary care team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Deliver high-quality care to patients with mental health conditions
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence
  • Supervise and support junior staff members
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) qualification
  • Experience working in mental health or learning disability settings
  • Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care
  • Basic knowledge of legislative frameworks and policies relating to care
  • Knowledge of the NMC Code of Conduct
  • Effective organizational and planning skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Basic leadership skills
