About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and forward-thinking Registered Care Manager to lead our care home in Margate. This is a full-time, permanent position with a well-established care company specializing in mental health, learning disabilities, and autism.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have the ability to keep calm under pressure, confidence to work alone and as part of a team, excellent communication skills, and a passion to work with vulnerable adults. They will be responsible for leading and directing the day-to-day operational management of the home, ensuring that available resources are used effectively to provide a good quality service.

  • Lead the Service Development Team in selecting and assessing potential new residents and their transition into the home.
  • Ensure that all service users have a dynamic support plan that takes account of their needs and aspirations.
  • Hold responsibility for ensuring the home operates in accordance with statutory requirements and national minimum standards.
  • Take a lead role in risk analysis, ensuring assessments take place and plans are put in place to minimize risk where necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong track record of experience in care management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

The estimated salary for this position is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
