Job Role: Support Worker

Our team is seeking a highly dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in supporting an individual with autism and a learning disability.

About the Role: We are committed to providing person-centred care and support to individuals with complex needs. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the individual receives the necessary care and support to live a fulfilling life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 360-degree support to the individual, covering all aspects of their life throughout the day and night.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the individual's needs, preferences, and goals.
  • Work collaboratively with the support team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in autism and learning disabilities.
  • Engage in activities that promote the individual's independence, social interaction, and personal growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of the individual's care and support needs.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience working with individuals with autism and learning disabilities.
  • Enhanced DBS check.
  • Full UK driver's license with access to a car.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
