Academic Mentor for Children with Special Needs

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and emotional development of students with special and complex needs. This will involve working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons, as well as providing tailored support to children with diverse needs across all lessons and subjects.
You will also be responsible for encouraging independence and confidence in students' learning journeys, and adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each child. This requires a high level of resilience, empathy, and professionalism, as well as a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
About the Role
This is a long-term position with the view to becoming permanent for the right candidates. The school is located in Wandsworth, London, and offers a competitive salary of £85 to £110 per day (dependent on experience).
