Job Overview: We are looking for a qualified Classroom Assistant for Children with Special Needs to join our team at Academics Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting SEN pupils within the school, providing individualized support and assistance in their academic and personal development.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Supporting SEN pupils in a primary school setting
  • Providing individualized support and creating tailored learning plans
  • Collaborating with teachers to develop effective teaching strategies
  • Assisting with numeracy and literacy lessons for KS1 and KS2 classes

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, a strong academic background, and experience working with children. A basic understanding of Maths and English is essential, as you will be supporting numeracy and literacy lessons. Previous experience working with SEN children is desirable but not necessary.
