Victim Support Service Coordinator

**Support Victims of Domestic Abuse as a UK-Based Advocate**
This challenging yet rewarding role requires a skilled advocate to provide direct support to victims of domestic abuse in London. As part of our IDVA team, you'll work closely with victims, their families, and other agencies to ensure their safety and well-being.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver front-line services to victims of domestic abuse, prioritizing risk and focusing on survivors aged 16+.
- Collaborate with colleagues and other agencies to develop and implement effective support strategies.
- Participate in regular supervision and group reflective practice to enhance your skills and knowledge.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Familiarity with help-seeking barriers and support needs of domestic abuse victims.
- Good understanding of domestic abuse's impact on victims and their children.
- Knowledge of risk assessment, safety planning, and risk management principles for domestic abuse victims and their children.
- Safeguarding awareness and legal responsibilities surrounding these issues.
- Direct service delivery experience to vulnerable individuals, including victims of domestic abuse.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills, both written and verbal.
**Salary and Benefits:**
The salary for this role is £28,810 per annum (including FTE £26,010) plus a £2,800 London Weighting Allowance. You'll also enjoy a range of benefits, including flexible working options, annual leave and Bank Holidays, pension with employer contributions, and enhanced sick pay and family-friendly policies.
