About the Position

As an Advanced Cardiovascular Clinician, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care at South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust. You will exercise advanced clinical skills, levels of judgement, discretion, and decision-making in cardiology care, demonstrated through professional portfolio evidence.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary cardiology team and allied specialties to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in the provision of accessible, high-quality cardiology care. They will contribute to the clinical governance, audit, research, training, and education agendas within the Cardiology Medical Team.

Responsibilities
  • Clinical duties will include shifts in Out Patient Clinics/Multidisciplinary Clinic, Coronary Care Unit, and Cardiology Ward work alongside medical on-call teams.
  • The post-holder will have a critical role in the Cardiology outreach service, involving new processes to improve patient flow and rapid streaming of medical referrals.
  • They will refer directly to other healthcare professionals and specialist departments as necessary, to ensure optimal efficiency and quality of care.

The estimated salary for this position is £55,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, annual leave, and opportunities for career progression.
