Care New England Health System is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Cardiology Device Registered Nurse. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with our interdisciplinary team, and staying up-to-date on the latest advancements in cardiovascular care.

Responsibilities:
  • Programs pacemaker and AICD devices under the direct supervision of a cardiologist(s).
  • Maintains and analyzes pacemaker and AICD clinical records and prepares analysis for physician review.
  • Performs remote device monitoring including scheduling, downloading clinical information, and analyzing transmissions.
  • Ensures patient needs are being met by a well-coordinated team of physicians and allied health professionals.
Requirements:
  1. Graduate of an NLN accredited School of Nursing;
  2. Minimum five (5) years clinical experience in a cardiology care setting;
  3. 2 years direct experience in a cardiac device program required.
  4. Knowledge of cardiac and pulmonary pathophysiology and risk factors, common cardiac medications and drug interactions and have electrocardiographic interpretation skills.
