Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Lead to join our team at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and ensuring that high-quality patient-centered care is delivered within a supported environment.

The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to make evidence-based clinical decisions without protocols or guidance when necessary.

The Clinical Lead will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to promote the delivery of high-quality patient-centered care and will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the immediate care and subsequent management of adult patients.

The post holder will contribute to the education and training of the multidisciplinary team and engage in clinical supervision, self-reflection, research/audit, and quality initiatives that contribute to the improvement of care for adults presenting to MCHFT.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and lead the implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Work with clinical colleagues to develop and review both medical and nursing protocols, guidelines, and standards of care through the process of clinical audit and quality improvement projects.
  • Support in the provision of specialist education and training to facilitate the development of other members of the multidisciplinary team.

**Requirements**

  • Clinical based Master's Degree in Advanced Healthcare practice.
  • Detailed knowledge of professional accountability and impact of NHS issues.
  • Excellent communication skills in complex and challenging situations.

**Salary:** £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
