Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at Fairmont St. Andrews. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration and monitoring of our colleagues' time and attendance system, ensuring accurate rotas are created and closed on a timely basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain the time and attendance system, ensuring accurate data entry and processing
* Liaise with the payroll bureau to ensure accuracy of processing and for deduction summaries and earning statements
* Provide daily and weekly payroll reporting against forecast
* Administer overtime and lieu, handling salary queries and making any wage corrections or adjustments
* Support the onboarding process and administer contractual changes
* Record, monitor, and report on absence and all other leave
* Ensure accuracy of NML/NMW rates and pension administration
* Foster communication and compliance in the use of the system, training and supporting new managers
* Provide general administration assistance within Finance
Requirements:
* Payroll qualifications preferred
* Excellent knowledge of payroll legislation and employment tax experience
* 2+ years' experience desired
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, technical, and numerical abilities
* Highly proficient in Excel
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Positive attitude, cheerful, and courteous demeanor
* Ability to remain calm under pressure
