Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Facilities Manager to provide visionary leadership for our facilities operations, overseeing the development and management of campus facilities to meet the organisation's current and future needs.

About You:

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and inclusive leader with demonstrable experience of leading and motivating facilities teams. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to represent ACS to external parties and interface with internal partners, staff, consultants, and contractors.

Critical Skills and Qualifications:

  • Commercially astute with experience of managing budgets and possessing a NEBOSH qualification in addition to your RICS, IWFM or other relevant built environment related qualification.
  • A proven track record of project managing large developments with values over £1m.

ACS International Schools Overview:

Our schools educate over 2,400 students, aged 2 to 18, day and boarding, from more than 70 countries. Our three schools in Greater London are all non-sectarian and co-educational. The Hillingdon Campus is centred around a stunning mansion house set in 13 acres, with modern facilities including libraries, science and IT labs, art studios, a cafeteria, a gym, an auditorium, and a dedicated music centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To provide expert guidance and advice to ensure compliance with statutory obligations and a sound balance of best value and practice.
  2. To manage significant operational and capital budgets effectively.
