We are seeking a skilled Internal Account Manager to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. Your Key Responsibilities- Build relationships with key stakeholders within the existing customer estate to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Maintain regular contact with customers to introduce new manufacturers, products, services, and technologies to achieve sales growth.
- Encourage new customers to open an account with Exertis and qualify new accounts to ensure a strong pipeline of opportunities.
- Identify accounts with significant opportunity and engage additional support and expertise to drive growth and performance.
- Manage pipeline and forecasting to ensure accurate sales projections and drive business growth.
- Profile potential leads to establish opportunities for new business and use market intelligence and historical data to plan and target accounts effectively.
- Collaborate with vendors and product specialists to encourage synergy with Commercial, Customer Service, and Credit Control teams.
- Complete administrative tasks such as responding to customer inquiries, processing orders, and managing pricing to ensure seamless customer service.
- Develop an industry-leading skill set by proactively keeping abreast of new trends and products in the market through sales training, vendor training, research, and self-study.
- Participate in side-by-side coaching sessions with the Team Leader/Sales Manager to increase productivity and improve performance.
- Demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to Ethics and Compliance and the Exertis Group Code of Conduct.
- Proven experience in Account Management with a strong track record of driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Experience in the IT or Memory Channel is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to build strong relationships with customers and vendors.
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to reliably commute to RG17 7RZ.
