Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tenancy Sustainment Officer Lead to join our team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Transformation Team, you will be responsible for line managing Tenancy Sustainment Officers across the South of Staffordshire.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team that puts people at the heart of all that we do. You will be working as part of an Integrated Mental Health Team, delivering support and guidance to service users regarding their housing provision. Developing relationships with partners in local authorities and housing associations, working together to improve housing outcomes for patients.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Provide a single point of contact for Tenancy Support Officers (TSO)
  2. Provide leadership and supervision to TSO's and deputise for the Relationships, Contracts and Quality Assurance Manager
  3. Work alongside multi-disciplinary teams providing specialist tenancy and housing-related support
  4. Work with service users with complex mental health needs, to live independently and remain in their own home if this is suitable for them, or help them finding alternative suitable accommodation
  5. Act as the main point of contact to answer any queries and troubleshoot issues including but not limited to; homelessness, evictions and repair work that have a Health & Safety risk
  6. Act as the conduit between MPFT Mental Health services and local authorities
  7. Assist in the delivery of a high standard of support to service users that have been identified as vulnerable and are unsafe in current accommodation, are at risk of losing their home or may already be homeless. All of which are likely to be having a detrimental impact on an individual's mental health
