Join Our Team as a Site Operative

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Site Operative at our household waste recycling centre in East Grinstead. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the site.

About the Role

  • Assist in the safe and efficient operation of the site, including assisting the general public visiting the site.
  • Ensure that waste brought onto the site is segregated as much as possible for recycling, adhering to Company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide operative services to support the site operations, including picking and segregation of waste, cleaning of yard areas, and advising and assisting centre users to maximise segregation and recycling.
  • Redirect commercial customers and portray the best corporate image.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability and willingness to assist members of the public and other site users.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and work to own initiative.
