About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team at The City Recruiter. As an MI Analyst, you will play a vital role in optimizing our suite of management information (MI) reports, integrating data from multiple sources into SSRS and Power BI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Reports: Develop and implement reports within SSRS from SQL data sources, ensuring accurate and timely data delivery.
  • Identify Data Gaps: Analyze current MI reports and identify gaps in data, implementing accurate datasets to bridge these gaps.
  • Expand Power BI Adoption: Promote the adoption of self-serve Power BI dashboards across all business areas, ensuring seamless data access and insights.
  • Refine SQL Jobs: Enhance data performance and availability for reporting by refining SQL jobs.
  • Data Integration: Ensure data from various systems is available within the SQL data warehouse for reporting.
  • Financial Data Analysis: Provide data and define processes within Finance for reconciling payments and receipts.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as an MI Analyst, ideally in an online travel setting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL, SSRS, and Power BI, with advanced Excel skills and the ability to present complex data clearly.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data sets.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Personal Qualities: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, highly organized, proactive, and self-motivated.
