MI Reporting Analyst

Are you passionate about data analysis and reporting? We're seeking an MI Reporting Analyst to join our Finance Team at a leading online Tour Operator.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement reports within SSRS from SQL data sources to provide actionable insights.
  2. Expand the current set of Power BI dashboards to enhance self-serve reporting across all business areas.
  3. Refine SQL jobs to maximize performance and availability of data for reporting.
  4. Ensure data from numerous systems is available for reporting within the SQL data warehouse.
  5. Provide data and define processes within Finance for reconciling payments and receipts.
  6. Analyze user behavior, conversion funnels, and other relevant data to identify areas for improvement.
  7. Inform decision-making based on data analysis to target optimizations and improvements to the customer journey.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Reporting Analyst, preferably in an online travel setting.
  2. Proficient in SQL, SSRS, and Power BI.
  3. Knowledge of Google Analytics, having utilized the tool to understand the customer website journey and combining with other data to extract actionable insights.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  5. Advanced knowledge of Excel with ability to summarize and present complex data in an easy-to-understand format.
  6. Enthusiastic about using new technologies and tools to interpret data.
  7. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
