Our client, This is Alexander Faraday Limited, is seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to fill the Deputy Ward Manager role in their Mental Health Service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk assessments and supervision of a team to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
  • Complete staff training and appraisals to foster a culture of learning and development.
  • Contribute to the process of collaboratively assessing and acting on risks of harm, danger, and abuse.
  • Act as a role model to promote a culture of learning, development, inquiry, and a team vision.
  • Implement, monitor, and evaluate therapeutic interventions within the care programme.
  • Problem solving and identifying problems and developing solutions based on their own needs and preferences.
  • Be named nurse for a small group of patients, acting as Associate nurse for colleagues when on duty, and a regular shift leader.

Requirements:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification.
  • Experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to solve complex issues.
