Join Our Team as a Deputy Surgical Ward Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Surgical Ward Manager to join our team at the North London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and support to our staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

About the Role
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to the ward nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement patient-centered care plans, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of our services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and staff experience.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
Requirements
  • RMN (NMC Registered Mental Health Nurse) qualification and ENB 998 or teaching equivalent.
  • Experience of working within a specialist area of Older Adults mental health nursing.
  • Detailed knowledge of the Mental Health Act and ability to advise other staff as required.
  • Ability to implement policies and procedures, leading their implementation where appropriate.
