About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Ward Manager to join our team at Priory Group. As a Deputy Ward Manager, you will play a key role in the management of our NHS Acute Adult Ward, working closely with the Ward Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective nursing strategies to improve patient outcomes
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of ward policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and experience
Requirements
  • RMN qualification
  • Experience in mental health nursing, preferably in an inpatient setting
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
