Theatre Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Manager to join our Portsmouth team at Practice Plus Group. As a key member of our multidisciplinary theatre team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standard of patient care and treatment.

Our focus is on delivering high-quality specialist care and excellent results for our patients. As a Theatre Manager, you will be responsible for the operational management and professional leadership of the theatre suite, working closely with colleagues within the theatre team and Inpatient Ward.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the theatre complex to meet the requirements of high-quality patient care
  • Ensuring care activities comply with Practice Plus Group policies and procedures
  • Leading the theatre team to maintain a proactive approach to managing patient flow through the department

We are looking for a Theatre Manager with a strong background in theatre practice, who is up-to-date with current research and developments in theatre practice. You will have a sound knowledge of Health and Safety/Risk management within the operating department and be a registered NMC Nurse or HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner.
