Job Summary

This Senior Manager, Commodity Operations role at ICE is responsible for the operations and development of the London Cocoa, Robusta Coffee, White Sugar, and UK Feed Wheat contracts. As a key member of the Soft Commodities team, you will contribute to all aspects of contract operations and product development, ensuring compliance with Exchange Rules and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the operations of the ICE London soft commodity contracts, including certification, storage, and transfer.
  • Collaborate with product advisory committees and market participants to maintain and develop contract terms in line with market trends and regulatory changes.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across ICE to deliver updated contract terms, new products, and services.
  • Handle client inquiries and manage customer relationships.
  • Maintain and develop the proprietary system IFEU Guardian for inventory, warehousekeeper, and delivery management.
  • Run physical deliveries and engage with other ICE functions to ensure orderly deliveries.
  • Draft written communications for internal and external release.
  • Visit and inspect warehousekeepers as required.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in soft commodities and/or futures markets.
  • Experience in Cocoa, Coffee, Sugar, or Wheat would be advantageous.
  • Educated to a degree level in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft package, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
