We are seeking a Commodities Credit Specialist to join our team at Goldman Sachs. As a key member of our Commodities credit risk management team, you will be responsible for managing our commodity-related credit exposures and ensuring that our derivatives business is properly managed.

About the Role

This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of commodities markets, credit fundamentals, and lending and trading products. You will work closely with other teams, including Investment Banking, Sales & Trading, and Legal, to ensure that our derivatives business is properly managed and that appropriate risk mitigants are in place.

Responsibilities
  • Manage our commodity-related credit exposures, including evaluating the creditworthiness of clients and counterparts.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate potential risks associated with derivatives business.
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify and address emerging issues and trends in the commodities market.
  • Analyze data and market information to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit risk management, with a focus on commodities.
  • Proven track record of success in managing complex data sets and developing actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to think critically and strategically, with a focus on delivering results.
