We are looking for an experienced Commodities Manager to join our procurement team at the Royal Household. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of commodities, developing procurement strategies, and managing tenders. You will also provide expert advice on contract management and ensure compliance with procurement policies.

About the Position

This challenging role involves managing the procurement of commodities from start to finish. You will work closely with stakeholders across departments to evaluate tender proposals and identify sustainable and ethical procurement practices. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in procurement, preferably within the public sector, along with expertise in contracts such as JCT and NEC3.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the procurement of commodities, including evaluating tender proposals and negotiating contracts with suppliers.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Provide expert advice on contract management and ensure compliance with procurement policies.

The estimated salary for this role is £70,000 - £90,000 per annum. As a member of our procurement team, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects and contribute to the success of the Royal Household.

Requirements include working towards or holding full membership of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (MCIPS) and having excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
