About the Role

The Associate Director, Commodities Product Management position is a critical role within S&P Global, responsible for driving growth and opportunities for the Commodities Index business. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of commodity markets and a proven track record in product development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and drive commercial growth opportunities for S&P DJI's Commodities and Real Assets Index business through a thorough understanding of client demand and the competitive landscape.
  • Support the Commodity Product Management team in channel and pricing policy, product design and delivery, and sales and marketing strategy for all commodity and real asset indices.

The successful candidate will be able to interface with other groups at S&P Global to cooperatively develop and commercialize commodity and real asset indices. This includes working closely with the Development, Technology and Research & Design teams to ensure technical aspects of product design are well-understood.

Requirements:
  • 5 years plus of product development, trading or investment analysis of commodity markets experience in any setting: investment banking, asset management, brokerage, or an index firm.
  • 2 years plus of commodity or real asset experience is desirable, either in indexing, investing, trading, analysis, data, or portfolio management.
Salary and Benefits:

£80,000 - £100,000 per annum, with excellent benefits package including pension scheme, health insurance, and annual bonuses.
