Estimated Salary: AU$200,000 - AU$300,000 per annumAbout the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Physical Commodities Operations to lead our high-performing team, driving performance and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. As a Senior Commodities Operations Leader, you will be responsible for reviewing the current state of physical commodity operations, identifying plans for improvement, and overseeing their delivery.

You will also be expected to keep abreast of commodity market and technology trends, identify and leverage new opportunities aligned with strategic goals, and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the business, risk, and operations teams.

Requirements
  • 10+ years' experience in physical commodities, preferably within a banking or regulated financial setting
  • Proven track record of leading diverse teams to achieve strong results
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate and deliver projects driving measurable risk management outcomes
  • Ability to balance the detail of physical commodity business process and controls with the ability to think broadly and create a strategic plan
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable interacting with and influencing senior internal and external stakeholders
