Job Title: Social Worker - Family Support and Protection Specialist
Essex County Council is seeking a skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our Family Support and Protection team. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for working with families to promote sustainable change and improve their well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement social work plans to support vulnerable families and children.
- Build positive relationships with families and engage them in the social work process.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve joint objectives and provide a supportive framework for children and families.
- Conduct assessments and reports to inform decision-making and interventions.
Requirements:
- Recognised social work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
- Experience in a social work setting, with evidence of challenging social and family situations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse groups of individuals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
