About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our team in supporting adults with complex social needs. As a Social Worker, you will work with vulnerable adults and their families to maximize their potential for living healthily and independently.

Working within statutory legal frameworks, you will share ideas and best practice, providing specialist advice as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Our teams in South Essex are primarily based out of our offices in Basildon, offering a mix of urban and semi-rural locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and review the needs of vulnerable adults, providing specialist advice and guidance.
  • Work with multi-agency professionals to develop and implement care plans.
  • Chair meetings involving clients, family members, carers, and other professionals.
  • Develop strong relationships with partner agencies and the local community.
Requirements
  • Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
  • Significant experience of social work, modelling good practice and providing advice and guidance in complex situations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of current legislation, regulations, and guidance.
  • Ability to make clear decisions, highlighting and limiting potential risks associated with intervention.
