Clinical Leadership Specialist

Estimated salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum.

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Leadership Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical management, leadership, and support to the QHB Theatre sites. This includes coordinating day-to-day activities, troubleshooting, and working collaboratively with fellow Lead Practitioners, Senior Sisters, and the Clinical Theatre manager.

Main Duties:
  • To co-ordinate, organise and take responsibility and accountability for the management and organisation of the given specialities.
  • To provide specialist clinical advice to support and facilitate high quality, individualised care to patients/clients and relatives/carers in collaboration with the multi-professional team.
  • To deliver clinical leadership through effective monitoring and implementation of standards and evidence-based practice.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience as a Team leader (band 6) within Theatres and possess excellent planning and organisational skills. They will also have the ability to plan own time and that of others and provide high quality patient care.
