An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Senior Midwife at Queens Hospital, Burton.

Job Description

This is a development opportunity working alongside the Senior Midwife to assist with the day-to-day running of the busy Antenatal Clinic. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Main Duties
  • Support the Senior Midwife in ensuring safe, clinically effective, women-centred care across the maternity care pathway.
  • Lead by example, offering midwifery clinical advice and operationally supporting the senior midwife.
Requirements
  • NMC Midwifery registration.
  • Significant post-registration experience, preferably at Band 6 level.
  • Leadership experience and/or qualifications desirable.

Estimated salary: £43,877 - £54,109 per annum.
