Housing Officer Specialist

About the Role:
Service Care Solutions is seeking a dedicated Housing Officer to provide support to vulnerable asylum seekers in Carlisle. This role involves ensuring high standards of accommodation and compliance with relevant contracts, prioritizing the safety and well-being of service users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular property inspections to guarantee safety and compliance.
- Manage onboarding and withdrawal of properties according to Local Operating Procedures.
- Undertake minor property repairs within trained scope and provided toolkit.
- Handle customer complaints and facilitate issue resolution.
- Participate in an on-call rota for 24/7 service availability.
- A valid UK driving license is required, with willingness to travel between properties.
Job Details:
This is a permanent, full-time position with 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (on-call rota every 10 weeks). The estimated salary for this role is £26,250, and a company car will be provided.
