Job Title: Insurance Claims Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Claims Specialist to join our Property Claims team in Carlisle.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance, housing, or a related discipline, with at least one year of experience in a similar role. They should also possess excellent organisational and relationship skills, as well as proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office.

  • We estimate the salary for this position to be around £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Key responsibilities include logging new jobs onto our Customer Records Management system, handling incoming calls, tracking site surveys and estimates, requesting payment of excesses, and ensuring compliance with our Health & Safety Policy.
  • Benefits include a 40-hour week, 28.5 days holiday, employer pension contribution, and in-house training and career progression opportunities.
What You'll Do:
  • Manage claims from start to finish, ensuring efficient processing and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records and update CRM systems regularly.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, contractors, and colleagues.
