Riverside Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Management Specialist to join their team at a large Manufacturing site in Carlisle. The successful candidate will have experience in managing teams, budgeting and controlling operational overhead costs, as well as planning and prioritising workloads.

About the Role:

  • The Supply Chain Management Specialist will be responsible for managing the site receipt, storage and movement of materials to ensure successful completion of the factory production plan.
  • They will also manage the storage and movement of finished goods to maximise customer service to customers and/or company distribution centres.
  • The role involves budget management and control, managing operational overhead costs for site warehousing and distribution and FLT fleet.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of successfully managing teams.
  • Trained in systems such as SAP, Autostore, Sugatrak, Time & Attendance, Production Planning.
  • Inbound / Outbound logistics experience.
  • Distribution processes knowledge.
  • Manual Handling Equipment (MHE) knowledge.
  • FLT/Mechanical handling knowledge.
  • Waste Management knowledge.
  • Load Planning knowledge.
