This service is a highly respected private service, leading the way in addiction and eating disorder treatment. As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you will be working with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to service users.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking initial assessments for service users admitted to the hospital to determine the appropriate level of care to be provided
  • Preparing discharge summaries, reports, and other associated documentation as necessary
  • Leadership of and participation in learning activities and clinical supervision
  • Participation in Clinical Governance activities and account for contracted hours utilised in research, clinical audit, Continuing Professional Development, and other non-clinical duties as necessary
  • Working effectively with colleagues to ensure that service users have access to appropriate clinical cover at all times
  • Supporting the service in delivering physical health care and potentially emergency treatment to service users
  • Undertaking prescribing duties within the parameters of registration and competency
  • Sharing responsibility for providing phlebotomy services with other members of the clinical team as required

The successful candidate will have:

  • Registered Non-Medical Prescriber status
  • Desirable to have completed an Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner Training Course or a Clinical Skills development course
  • Experience of clinical leadership and teaching and assessing skills
  • Ability to demonstrate adherence to evidence-based practice

The salary for this role is £52,000 - £58,000 FTE DOE, and the benefits include many benefits in line with the NHS, working with a dedicated multidisciplinary team, free on-site parking, NMC payment in full, enhanced maternity pay, and access to development opportunities including leadership and management development, support with Revalidation, and a long service award.
