A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join a reputable rehabilitation service in Surrey. Working for a leading healthcare provider, you will be part of a highly respected private service leading the way in addiction and eating disorder treatment.

To be considered for this position, you must be a qualified Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin. Key responsibilities include undertaking initial assessments for service users, working with the ward multi-disciplinary team, and participating in learning activities and clinical supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initial Assessments: Undertake initial assessments for service users admitted to the hospital to determine the appropriate level of care to be provided, under the direction and supervision of the Consultant Psychiatrist.
  • Leadership and Participation: Leadership of and participation in learning activities and clinical supervision.
  • Clinical Governance: Participation in Clinical Governance activities, and account for contracted hours utilised in research, clinical audit, Continuing Professional Development and other non-clinical duties as necessary.
  • On-Call Rota: Work effectively with colleagues to ensure that service users have access to appropriate clinical cover at all times, which will require participation in an on-call rota for the site.
  • Phlebotomy Services: Share responsibility for providing phlebotomy services with other members of the clinical team as required.
  • Risk Assessment and Adjustment: Undertake the risk assessment and adjustment of service user observation levels in conjunction with colleagues from the wider MDT.
Requirements
  • Registered Non-Medical Prescriber: Registered Non-Medical Prescriber would be a preferred and beneficial skill for the role.
  • Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner Training: Desirable to have completed an Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner Training Course or a Clinical Skills development course (which should include initial examination, ECG and venepuncture).

The successful Advanced Nurse Practitioner will receive an excellent salary of £52,000 - £58,000 FTE DOE. This permanent full-time role working 37 hours per week includes free on-site parking, NMC payment in full, enhanced maternity pay, and access to development opportunities including long service award.
