Job Title: Advanced Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team in a reputable rehabilitation service based in Woking, Surrey. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake initial assessments for service users to determine the appropriate level of care, working under the direction and supervision of the Consultant Psychiatrist.
  • Lead and participate in learning activities and clinical supervision to ensure the delivery of effective treatment and care pathways.
  • Contribute to Clinical Governance activities, including research, clinical audit, and Continuing Professional Development.
  • Work effectively with colleagues to ensure service users have access to appropriate clinical cover at all times, including participation in an on-call rota.
  • Support the service in delivering physical health care and emergency treatment to service users.
  • Share responsibility for providing phlebotomy services with other members of the clinical team.
  • Undertake risk assessments and adjust service user observation levels in conjunction with colleagues from the wider multidisciplinary team.
Requirements:
  • Registered Non-Medical Prescriber qualification.
  • Desirable to have completed an Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner Training Course or a Clinical Skills development course.
