Job Opportunity for Advanced Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team in a reputable rehabilitation service based in Woking, Surrey. This is a permanent full-time role working 37 hours per week.

About the Role

As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for undertaking initial assessments for service users admitted to the hospital, determining the appropriate level of care to be provided, and working with the ward multi-disciplinary team to ensure delivery of the treatment and care pathway.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake initial assessments for service users and determine the appropriate level of care
  • Work with the ward multi-disciplinary team to ensure delivery of the treatment and care pathway
  • Lead and participate in learning activities and clinical supervision
  • Participate in Clinical Governance activities and account for contracted hours utilised in research, clinical audit, Continuing Professional Development, and other non-clinical duties
  • Work effectively with colleagues to ensure service users have access to appropriate clinical cover at all times
  • Support the service in delivering physical health care and potentially emergency treatment to service users
  • Share responsibility for providing phlebotomy services with other members of the clinical team
  • Undertake risk assessment and adjustment of service user observation levels in conjunction with colleagues from the wider MDT
  • Registered Non-Medical Prescriber
Requirements

Desirable to have completed an Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner Training Course or a Clinical Skills development course (which should include initial examination, ECG, and venepuncture).
