Job Opportunity for Advanced Nurse Practitioner

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join a reputable rehabilitation service in the Woking, Surrey area. The successful candidate will be working for a leading healthcare provider, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

This rehabilitation centre is a highly respected private service, leading the way in addiction and eating disorder treatment. With over a decade of experience, the centre has established a strong reputation for improving the wellbeing of individuals seeking support.

To be considered for this position, applicants must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake initial assessments for service users to determine the appropriate level of care, working under the direction of the Consultant Psychiatrist and collaborating with the ward multi-disciplinary team.
  • Prepare discharge summaries, reports, and other documentation as necessary.
  • Lead and participate in learning activities, clinical supervision, and Clinical Governance activities.
  • Account for contracted hours utilised in research, clinical audit, Continuing Professional Development, and other non-clinical duties.
  • Work effectively with colleagues to ensure service users have access to clinical cover at all times, participating in an on-call rota.
  • Support the service in delivering physical health care and emergency treatment to service users.
  • Undertake prescribing duties within registration and competency parameters.
  • Share responsibility for providing phlebotomy services with other clinical team members.
  • Conduct risk assessments and adjust service user observation levels in conjunction with colleagues.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Registered Non-Medical Prescriber
  • Desirable to have completed an Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner Training Course or a Clinical Skills development course.
  • Experience of clinical leadership and teaching/assessing skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate adherence to evidence-based practice.
Benefits:
  • Excellent salary of £52,000 - £58,000 FTE DOE.
