SEN Teacher Vacancy

We are seeking an SEN Teacher to join our team at a Pupil Referral unit in Lichfield. As an SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students transitioning from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 3, focusing on emotional regulation, wellbeing, and access to learning.

Responsibilities and Requirements:- Develop and deliver personalized lessons to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles.
- Monitor and analyze student progress, identifying areas for improvement.
- Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes mutual respect and understanding.
- Prior experience in emotional regulation and de-escalation techniques is highly desirable.
- A degree-level qualification in a specialist subject or related field is mandatory.
- Familiarity with therapeutic approaches in teaching is advantageous.
- A background in SEMH, trauma, sensory processing, and social communication teaching would be beneficial.
- A competitive salary range of £30,000-£46,525 per annum, dependent on experience.
