Primary SEN Teacher Vacancy

We are seeking an experienced Primary SEN teacher to join our team in a specialist school in North Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work with students who require additional support and make a positive impact on their education.
About the Role:
This role requires a qualified teacher with experience in working with students with SEN in Key Stage 1 & 2, or willingness to transition from secondary education. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the needs of SEN students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement IEPs for each student, working closely with the teaching team.
- Deliver engaging and adaptive lessons for students with ASC and other SEN.
- Maintain open communication with parents and caregivers, keeping them informed about progress.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Demonstrated experience working with SEN students, particularly those with ASC.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
