Job Title: SEN Teaching Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Specialist to join our team in North Birmingham. This role requires a qualified teacher with experience in working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Key Stage 1 & 2, or willingness to transition from secondary education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for each student, working closely with the teaching team.
  • Deliver engaging and adaptive lessons for students with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and other SEN.
  • Maintain open communication with parents and caregivers, keeping them informed about progress.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Demonstrated experience working with SEN students, particularly those with ASC.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
