Job Description

As a Behaviour Mentor with Teaching Personnel, you will be working in a challenging yet rewarding environment, supporting students with SEMH needs. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing behaviour support to help students manage their emotions and behaviours
  • Building relationships with students, acting as a positive role model and source of support
  • Promoting a safe and inclusive environment for all students
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEMH needs. You will also need to have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with students, staff, and families.

A relevant qualification or training in behaviour support, mental health, or education is desirable but not essential. You must have a Child DBS on the update service, or be willing to apply for one.
