About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Specialist Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and inclusive SEN school in Lichfield. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small-group support to foster academic and personal development of students with a range of SEN needs, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
  • Implement individualized strategies and interventions to enhance learning and address specific barriers to progress.
  • Assist teachers in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that caters to diverse needs and abilities.
  • Support students in developing social, emotional, and communication skills, promoting independence and confidence.

Salary: £425 - £500 per week (inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay), with the option to convert to permanent employment at a later date.
