Crime Support Specialist

This role involves working directly with victims of antisocial behaviour, providing support and information, and signposting to other partner agencies and resources.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working with victims of antisocial behaviour (ASB) offering support and information.
- Gaining and developing skills of working with vulnerable people.
- Working in a team with other volunteers and staff.
- Gaining experience in working with the police, council, housing teams, and other social landlords.
- Attending events to promote the service covering Staffordshire, including Stoke on Trent.
To be eligible for this role, you must:
- Be 18 years of age or over.
- Be able to volunteer for at least 3 hours per week, for at least 12 months.
- Undertake training over a 10-week period.
- Undertake a DBS check and be part of the DBS update service.
- Be able to provide two satisfactory references.
We offer a competitive salary of £8.72 per hour, plus expenses incurred whilst volunteering. You will also have access to out-of-pocket expenses, including travel and lunch.
