Autism and SEN Teaching Support Role

Join our dynamic team of SEN Teaching Assistants in Lichfield and surrounding areas.
We are looking for a motivated and empathetic individual to support children with special educational needs.
About the RoleAs a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and other professionals to deliver high-quality education to pupils with special educational needs.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting teachers in the classroom, small groups, and one-to-one settings
- Using positive reinforcement techniques and behaviour-based instruction to support pupil development
- Following specialized support plans to help pupils achieve their full potential
- Providing emotional support to pupils with special educational needs
The ideal candidate will have:
- Relevant qualifications (Level 2 or 3 in childhood studies or TA course)
- Relative experience working in a SEN school setting
- Extra SEN training certificates (such as MAPA, Mackaton, Team Teach)
- A genuine interest in helping support children with extra needs
We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum, plus a £200 joining bonus*.
