Job Overview:

Our specialist primary school in North Birmingham is seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in Key Stage 1 & 2, or be willing to transition into primary SEN from a secondary background.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's requirements.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to deliver high-quality, individualized lessons for SEN students.
  • Maintain open communication with parents and caregivers, ensuring they are informed about their child's progress.

Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Have demonstrated experience working with SEN students, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC).
  • Possess an Enhanced DBS check (or be willing to obtain one).
