About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our team at Sanderson. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and identifying new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Pipeline Development: Support the creation and progression of sales pipelines that target new clients and identify opportunities with existing clients.
  • Proposal and Pitch Development: Produce credential documents, proposals, and pitch presentations to support winning new business.
  • Market Communications: Assist with market communications, including sector reports, online updates, and social media content.
  • Internal Communications: Create and manage internal communications materials, including newsletters, intranet articles, and sector reports.
  • Event Management: Manage events, including mailing list creation, invitations, program design, marketing, and liaison with suppliers/speakers.
  • Industry Relationships: Work closely with industry bodies to develop relationships, sponsor opportunities, and other activities.
Requirements
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence and Proactivity: Enthusiastic, confident, and proactive.
  • Copywriting Experience: Experience with copywriting, with strong attention to detail to support editing and proof-reading.
  • Client-Facing Experience: Experience working within a client-facing environment, particularly within events and proposals.
What We Offer

This is a full-time, permanent role offering a starting salary up to £31,000 (depending on experience) and a flexible hybrid model.
